Hey guys? Remember that really weird time where Hector reminded us all that he was actually a son of Hades? Yeah that was awkwaaaard. I tend to feel uncomfortable showing him being too morbid, but I think here he's just mostly upset about someone getting the jump on him. Hopefully Calla will take it from there.
In the mean time Hector is going to let everyone in the near vicinity of say, 500 feet, know that he's not down with being surprised by taking away their powers. Yup.
(On a private note, thank you everyone who drew Hector for the CTF event! It really really means a lot to me to see other people enjoying the character)

Mostly how exactly the river is summoned, though I suppose it just... comes from him as a gooey looking, green mass. Is it just like being hit by water or does it have any special effects upon impact?

Well the river proper isn't really summoned at this point. He can summon small parts of it to fling to be more versatile than to just have the entire river raining down. I'm going to be uploading an event piece that features that so maybe that will help you understand it more?
As for what it does- the moment it touches another demigod it renders their special abilities useless. They are essentially mortal until they dry out naturally. Mortals are extremely fatigued and can barely function and monsters also fill weak and exhausted. Once a week he can use the river to kill pretty much everything it touches although if you want to see more about that I would recommend either reading his character sheet or waiting until my event piece is done. :3

Hahha, this one made me chuckle; Kai is all "yeah, now what're you going to do?" and then he gets a face full of green Hades goo(is that goo? might just appear that way to me, either way I would not want to be hit by that.)
In a way, I don't know if this offends you or not, your style here kinda reminds me of Disney in a nice way.

Yeah the 'goo' is Hector's ability to summon the river Styx. I didn't really think it should move like normal water. I wanted something thick with a really high surface tension like tar. Getting hit by that would be less than fun. It means a sudden disappearance of the demigod powers you might possess. :3

...Y'know, now that you mention it, it makes sense with the River Styx not flowing like water. It just comes off as one of those "huh, I can see that" after reading the books and stories about the river itself. Ugh, yes, that is not something I would want on me.

I find it horribly ironic that the son of Poseidon is using a ground attack and the son of Hades is using a water one. These two need to get their powers switched. : P

And really? I felt like I messed him up horrible and wasn't accurate at all. T_T I just couldn't get his face right.
Yes, I thought Hector looked wonderful. He looked very good. Most people can't figure out his mowhawk, but I thought you did a pretty solid job on it.

I think you did a good job! I think he's hard to nail him down because my style's sort of too stylized. One thing CTF marathoning has done has been to help me get more accurate with anatomy and whatnot, so hopefully I can get his face to a point where it's easier for other people to draw, haha

Haha it's changed a lot from what it was based on, but I think it's working pretty well... and drawing it from all angles has helped
