17. Which team are you on? How about a little show of Team Pride for a morale boost!Moral boots with Illiza include defacing the Red Team by making them blue. Horray for team spirit!
Things are funnier in my head than when I draw them out. I had a snappy punch line for Illiza when I first did this, but then I forgot it.
Also, paint does not move in the way I thought it did, and I had to spend some time watching it move to figure out how to draw it. It's very...thick. And smooth. Not really what I was expecting.
And poor Ari is saying FML at the end for anyone who wants to know.

i love how you do your comics; the fact that you turn the usual thick, black frames into thin, free floating ones and give the background behind it a tone similar to the characters' surroundings has always given a better sense of flow and feeling more grounded to where said characters are. and i feel if i comment on your backgrounds in general, that i'd be just repeating everything else everyone's already said, but i really love how you draw your backgrounds. i also like how you drew illiza and everyone else! they turned out really great! also, that paint splatter; did you do that by hand or was that a brush? brilliant either way 8'l

Thank you so much! I really means a lot to know that people like my comics even if it's been said by someone else. As for the paint, not that is not a brush. That was about four hours of paint study for about ten minutes of actual work. I try not to use brushes whenever possible unless it is for something very specific.

.A. insane and brilliant and i applaud you for it; i love it when people avoid things like brushes that can handicap people to constantly use them and not test their own skills. they're nice to start off with, but if you don't try later on your own you don't grow. and it looks stunning<3

It's very true. *nodnod* I considered using a brush for this because I didn't know anything about it, but after doing my hw on it, I learned a lot about paint and movement. It was a lot more fun that way. : ) ♥

ahaha omg! This is great! The paint looks gorgeous when it splatters! The cliff itself is just gorgeous and I love how Ari's just standing there-not even bothering to wipe it off because NOPE.
