This is the most heartbreaking thing I've seen in a long time.
I for one, love the Biskits whenever they appear, and though I dislike their mean girl antics, they're obviously not evil. They invoke both sympathy and empathy in me every time I see them trying to wreck things for Blythe, because I know they just want love and attention and are going about getting it in the wrong ways.
As others have surmised, we know nothing about their mother, and their father seems to be a hands-off kind of guy. Bottom line is, they didn't become spoiled nasty brats overnight...that's learned behaviour; from horrible authority figures that they grew up with and emulated. But it's definitely not too late for them to change. Case in point: when Roger became their driver and, unwittingly, their substitute dad, he was a positive role model showing them the love and guidance they so desperately crave. They took to it/him like ducks to water.
And we all know Whittany really likes Blythe, and that her (dominant?) sister is the only reason she won't fully befriend her. But that longing for friends is in Brittany, too.Β This drawing does a great job at showing that if Brittany is indeed the meaner twin, she's hurting more inside because of it, and that she has a slightly longer way to go to become a kind, considerate person than Whittany...who is, of course, still dying of loneliness inside herself.
I can only hope the sadness and unbearable pain of being alone (of which I and I'm sure too many others know only too well) will end with the last episode of LPS (whenever that may be), and the Biskits break out of their selfish - and self-destructive stance - and befriend Blythe (and maybe the other kids) with genuine heartfelt feeling.
I'm rooting for you, Brit and Whit. Be strong. Be nice. Be - eventually - happy. <3 <3

Absolutely. And it's funny you say the "art" moved me, because I was thinking you could have even done this without the text, and the feeling would have been conveyed just as well; whether you're familiar with LPS or not, the image of two girls sitting alone in their house alone on their birthday comes across dynamically. And if you DO know the Biskits, it's even better...
Or worse, if you know what I mean.
But Whittany's thoughts bring it right to the heart (again, smart choice having Whit narrate instead of her sister), and elevate the piece to "master"piece status in my eyes.

Yes, im familiar with the show. It was just starting when i did this comic, They got more exposure as the season 1 ended and the second season came, but i mostly had no idea what the show was holding, it was mostly a guessing game based on about 5 Episodes.

Speaking of guessing, I guess I can't say anymore about this piece but: if you're indeed thinking of following this story/art up, my vote definitely goes for that.
Are you thinking of flashbacks or just the present tale of the girls alone in the mansion at night?
Perhaps wherever this journey ends, it will have a visit from Blythe?

You too? I felt bad for them when the jock picked on them and Blythe stood up for them. It all seemed happy until Blythe's friends just cold refused to even associate with Blythe anymore.
No wonder the twins are so bitter.

While I can say that they need to apologize for being mean....
they also have their parents to blame for the way they grew up. The twins parents gave them money and things but did not give them the love they needed.

Gotta agree with this one. Don't ask me why, but considering how Brittany is in the show, she might be more of a friendlier type than Whittany is. Whittany seems to be the meanest of the two.
