study from photo snagged of the net, once more. Yep it's been a month since I submitted anything, University life really is hectic, project after project, losing sleep, not enough time for anything else... I've been working more in pencil though, and it seems to be helping slightly. I really need to start getting back into the swing of things, even if its at the expense of my projects. what do you guys think?arrrgh.
Overcast lighting is hard to convincingly do. damn

This is my favorite from the photo studies.
Some shading problems in and behind the ear, down side of the nose, above upper lip and below lower lip. Perhaps because the ground sends much less light than the omnipresent clouds... But who cares, it's a nice portrait with an overcast mood.
