Description
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.....Jedi Master Luke Skywalker wasn't so happy how his character was written in the latest Star Wars film. So he decided to go to a cantina to meet and talk to an old friend named Lucas.
Yeah...
After watching TLJ twice, I have to say I still like most of it. Except for several stuff:
Wasted Characters, Uselss characters, Silly scenes.
-Rose
-Carrie Poppins (I love Carrie Fisher tho)
-How Luke Skywalker ended
-Boba Fett all over again (Phasma)
-Porgs (utterly useless, storywise)

George Lucas is one of those ex-girlfriend's that make you say "was she all really that bad"

Lucas: It's amazing, really. The story I wanted to share, all the effort I put into a morality tale and having the Light win over the Dark, everything has gone back to square one.
Luke: Yeah. All the work me, Han and Leia did, all the trials we overcame to bring peace to the galaxy, has been undone. No New Republic, no new Jedi, and the Empire 2.0 now rules the galaxy. It's like we never existed.
Lucas: Well, that's not true. People still see you as a hero.
Luke: Everyone except Rian Johnson.
Lucas: Got me there...
Luke: So, George, what was your original vision for continuing the saga after we destroy the Death Star?
Lucas: It's a long story.
Luke: (A glass of blue milk in his hand) Well...I have nothing but time.
Lucas: Okay then. I'd love to. It all starts a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...

Nice. I still can't figure out who's backhead is that between Luke and George. I see he is wearing a red scarf? Is he sitting or he's just a kid? Can't figure it out.Β

For me, it is not a red scarf but the uniform of a resistance or rebel pilot.

I loved this movie and I personally thought the Crait scene with Luke was unique , but I feel like Luke's story could've been ended at least in the next movie. I'm hoping that we will see Luke fight Snoke in the after life because I am still not convinced Snoke is truly dead . Plus Snoke can come back as a force ghost since he isn't completely dark side and is not a Sith . Maybe he wasn't killed at all and that was a just a force projection , because in the Force Awakens you can see his hologram and his throne is actually different from the one we see in the last Jedi and also Snoke looks more healthy then he did in the force awakens .

Just came back from the cinema and this picture totally sums up my mood.

Frankly, I loved the end of Luke's story in The Last Jedi. I thought that the binary sunset was a fantastic way to send off the Jedi from Tatooine, and that the Force trick he used on Kylo was something that outdid anything Yoda or Ben ever did in the series before. 
But still, love this picture. Luke and George, old friends able to share a drink and chat about the good old days

I liked rose I thought her character was sweet but I would have loved to have seen her relationship with her sister more maybe have her sister die and the end of the movie and have that build her character moreΒ

I liked the movie, and I even liked what they did with Luke; its nice to see him not as the Mary Sue everyone expected. On the other hand, I agree the pacing was weird and there was a lot of weird plot holes.

Luke isn't Mary Sue in legends, just super overpowered and what's wrong with that? Just because he's overpowered doesn't mean he hasn't face powerful characters. He fails at some parts in his life, he's not perfect but he's doing the best he can to lead new Jedi order. Not to mention he had a lot of years of training to become the grand master.Β

Yeah, thats what the Last Jedi was about; Luke failing and making mistakes. I have no problem with him being OP, as long as he has flaws which he did in this movie. What I find weird is that people had an issue with that.

In the empire strikes back, Luke ran from his training to recuse his friends but it was a trap setup for him and he end up losing to Darth Vader and lost his hand, Han Solo was captured, Rebels were getting screwed. The good guys didn't even get the upper hand until the very last movie. They failed a lot, everyone did. Luke Skywalker, all the Skywalker and Solo family tree, Obi Wan, Yoda, everyone has their flaws, made mistakes and failed some point in their life.
Luke lost his Uncle and Aunt, he saw his teacher get killed in front of his own eyes, he failed in the second movie (Episode 5) he lost another master and losing his father at the end. He's indeed the most powerful Jedi that ever lived but he has some flaws that he has struggled. He made a lot of mistakes, even in Legends. So he isn't what everyone think he is. Yeah in canon I like they done with Luke in their own way but that movie has a lot of flaws that most of it doesn't make sense.

I like the concept that the jedi order needs to end and that something new needs to take his place, like the scene were ben asking ray to let both sith and jedi die, let everything from the past die and start something new.
To be honest that out have been a very interesting concept to see happen if you were aware of the religion of both jedi and sith and there problems.

In my opinion that was astroturfing from Disney and/or people who rated the movie before the special effects overdose wore off and realized what they watched, and maybe SW fans who went into denial over what has been done to their favourite franchise.
