It was the last "Late Night" event at the DMA this year with an opening of the newest exhibition "Jackson Pollock: Blind spots"
which illuminates this underexplored but pivotal part of artist's practice known as his black paintings.
I took this self-portrait at the DMA store where you can explore some funny and artistic gifts, books, albums etc.

By the way, I discovered there a fascinating book by Alison Nastasi "Artists and their cats"
and spent a while admiring all the photos of cats and their owners or, if you prefer, vice versa.
Phew! I am so crazy about cats...
