Please download for full size image~Once again -another- temporary reference for this girl, I will stop messing with her one day but today is not that day (fear it?!)
She looks completely different this time round, I decided to bite the bullet and make her small, thin and dainty as opposed to medium weight and bulk. I've also changed her base animal from an Eastern Bluebird to a Blue Morpho Butterfly . I simply loved those blue hues framed in black. So I poked around for a bit of inspiration and eventually settled on a Magpie type of wing/feather framing. They're evil birds but they're pretty. So her body is more or less plain white now bar the blues on her back. Nice and simple I think c:
So thats about it really, I know she is missing things such as her wing pinion feathers and spine selection, but if I dont upload her now I will just keep picking and picking at her whike getting nothing of any importance done..whhhhyyyyyy~!
Also this a rush job, please no critiques regarding colouring or lines!
Her body is a re-used image of my own and her wings we're referenced from images located on a Google search.
Forcing this computer to upload makes it angry! Rageaholic computer!

man I'm so tired I misread the title to Idiot
She looks so smooth and soft, I think it's the lines and colouring that gives that effect! Looking on her wings, it looks like she could come from some sort of tropical place [correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't read the desription properly this time].
Various shades of blue, together with black and white have always been my favorite combination, one of the reasons I fav this :3

I'm not actually sure of the climate Avians live in (as in tropical/not tropical...I'm also tired so I probably don't make much sense right now!), it would be an interesting question actually! Mine too c:> I also like red and purple blended together, I dont see alot of it unfortunatly :c

Those hues of blue on her wings are just gorgeous <8] I really love the shape and fragility of her back legs.

Even if the design is very simple I really like it :3
The bright blue colours together with the darker blue and the black look simply awesome
An other nice aspect of this character is, that she doesnΒ΄t have this typical avian anatomy, with longer legs the dragon looks much more elegant
