Kiryu from Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 3. I actually own this dvd
got it off eBay and its in proper region too. I love the Godzilla movies but ive only seen Godzilla (1954), Godzilla vs Monster Zero, Godzilla vs the Thing, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Destroyah and Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 3 (excluded from this is Tristar's Godzilla cos it doesnt count and had no Toho Godzillaness about it but this is my opinion). Kiryu is my favourite mech from the Godzilla series.Once again it didnt scan too well...

In both movies this mech was in it did pretty well but Godzilla beat the crap out of this thing, and in S.O.S. The big G got shafted, blasted caterpillars.

Wait, is the movie that you purchased actually called "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 3?" Are you sure it isn't bootlegged? The one I have is called "Godzilla against Mechagodzilla".

Why do you think that Toho wanted to call rename Mechagodzilla to Kiryu?

I'm not sure actually, although I do know that 'Kiryu' means something like Machine Dragon. Or maybe its cos its different to the other Mechagodzillas, what with the Godzilla skeleton inside him and stuff.

HEY WAY COOL I LOVE JAPANS GODZILLA!!!! AND KIRYU IS SO EFFING COOL..i do agree tha tristars godzilla SUCKED..and you should work on seeing all the movies they, all got godzilla kickin everyones ass in them....neway Kiryu is so cute!...love it! *fav*
