I started this on black pastel paper in November, but only got most of the contours done. I finished the rest today, and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Took about 2 hours overall. Prismacolors on, as I said, black pastel paper. Originally, I wanted to do the color in soft pastel.....not anymore. Ginormic Chaotic Mess of DOOM!!!.....aaaanyways. tell me what you think. thank you ^.^

Very nice! I wish I could do pieces like that as well as you do in charcoal, but charcoal for me sucks. Must try doing charcoal over pencil or something. Very beautiful piece! I think you did the black widow justice. But the web it makes freaks me out. (I'm scared to death of cobwebs and spiderwebs. No, I'm not scared of spiders, just the webs). Must fav this one!

Wow very neat. it's a beautiful creature and I think you did it justice. Nice use of different mediums too, I' have trouble moving away from my beloved pencil....

Thank you. I happy with it too. I like color more now, I just have so many graphite pieces going on that I update them more often than color ones.
