Description
Project A-ko was the second anime I ever saw, and while I adore the series and have always loved it to pieces, the villainess B-ko has always been my favorite character and held a special place in my heart. Her antics to thwart the redheaded heroine of the series, A-ko, and to steal the friendship of the very naive little blonde C-ko are just hilarious and always good for a laugh, yet at the same time she's cool and calculated and probably the most levelheaded of the three. And then there's the fact that she has some really cool mechs and weapons, and gets to wear a sexy outfit!I've always wanted to make this costume, but I wanted to have the whole set of three main characters with me when I did. And I finally got the chance at Dragon Con 2008 when I was able to recruit my friend Elizabeth for C-ko and my friend Mandy for A-ko! Thanks so much for doing this with me ladies! ⼠This costume isn't finished by a long shot - I want to remake the rocket launcher B-ko wears on her arm, and also make her whip and the wings to her Akagayami-23 Battlesuit. I also plan on commissioning her helmet from a professional prop maker, so I hope to have that added to the costume soon as well. ^_^

Best B-Ko I have seen yet! The costume, the pose, you really bring her to life.
A true tribute to a classic.

The commentary for Project A-ko has the creator basically challenges people to do this cosplay. If you do get the costume complete, you might want to find out how to send Yuji Moriyama a picture. Best one I've seen, no contest.

The purple colors in the background really complements the outfit and hair, giving it a really animated look.

I should really luck in your gallery more often cause LYKEOMFGITSAKO! This is one of the first animes I remember watching. Memories flooding back... strangely I picture the muscular school girl appears dominantly in my mind, lol. O_o
Anyways great costume as always and the boots alone are to die for.

As far as my knowledge and "data collecting" goes, this is probably the first time I've seen a B-Ko cosplayer.
The wings don't sound hard but I'd imagine they'd be tricky to maintain. Just about ANY Con has to deal with crowd control and bumping into a lot of people ... well hate to have an unfortunate 'snap'. Good luck on those.
Hell I'm surprised that you even plan on completing the costume, going as far as to getting someone to make the helmet part, which next to the getting the courage to wear the suit itself is PROBABLY why a lot of cosplayers are turned off from the project (but these days, PVC and glass are welcome materials in the hobby and we have the MGS4 Raiden and Samus to thank). Make sure it has some kind of airflow if you intend to wear it, don't want to fog that thing up.
I look forward to seeing the completed costume..

I was getting nostalgic for Project A-ko when I saw this. Great job! That is a well-crafted costume.
If you ever need someone to play D or Mari, I'm your man.
