The first in a new trio of "linear triangles" works, tentatively named Chroma, Avalanche, and The Wave. Thanks again to ChaosFissure for pioneering this technique and posting a wonderful tutorial about it, which has often served me as a great source of inspiration.

This piece was rendered in Apophysis 7x using a higher gamma value than normally possible in the GUI by directly editing the flame in Notepad.

This is one of two recent pieces (the other is Avalanche) where I've taken full advantage of the ridiculous rendering speed of linear triangles to achieve the highest resolution my computer's RAM would allow--here, 8000 x 4000 pixels (32 megapixels). So, as always, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.
