Description A while ago I found a "speed-fractaling" video by tatasz , for Firestorm . Β I hadn't attempted or even heard of this technique before--linear transforms with a waves2 shared linked transform--but I found the video to be extremely helpful, and I have several of these on the way.

An Apophysis 7x fractal. Β As with all my fractals, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.

Intriguing design! The style is seldom seen compared to many others, yet nonetheless it holds marvelous value. Excellent work!

I use more ''traditional'' methods to achive same effect.

I still haven found a way to convert it into digital form for uploading.

doesnt have to be waves2
can be many things like lazysusan, loonie, ortho, etc

Thanks! Β  Β I have some bwraps/waves2 combinations coming up. Β I've tried loonie and lazysusan, but I couldn't get any results I really liked...never tried ortho though

Secret trick... have a chain of linked transforms

first circlize, then something, then squarize.

I've tried chains of bwraps/loonie/lazysusan/etc...but I'm not familiar with the terms "circlize" and "squarize". Β When you say "circlize", do you mean multi-linked-transform to a bubble, hemisphere, etc.? Β And then perhaps link to a curl as I would for a double bubble? Β Or perhaps spherical -> something -> spherical could be interesting...?

Anyhow, I just devised a little experiment. Β At its core is linear tile -> spherical -> waves2 -> spherical -> waves2 -> pre_spherical/ngon. Β It's imperfect but still quite fun

Nah, there are plugins circlize and squarize (i think Michael Faber made them).
Circlize transforms a square into a circle, and squarize, back to square.

To make stuff work perfectly, you may use modulus, for example, waves2 + modulus with right waves2 variables will keep the whole thing square.
