Description
This is a work in progress of the art I am working on right now - will be titled "Touch Her, I Dare You"It is of a large male wolf protecting his mate. It is taking forever to complete.
I'm experimenting with putting acrylics atop colored pencil. I think I like the result so far, but I have a lot of practice to do.
Don't forget to watch for the finished artwork! <3

Awww thanks! Problem is, the background is so dark and detailed now that the main characters don't really stand out at all. But it's not even done yet so that might be part of it

polychromos pencils first, then acrylics for detail

It definitely doesnt look like you put acrylic on top but im sure it does if I saw what the colored pencil looked like before you put on the paint.

Drawing since I could hold a pencil. Colored pencil maybe ehh... 3-4 years? I started with noname brands as a 12 year old, then when I turned 13 my parents got me a ton of prismacolors
