More pics of Balfor at connecticon. I had such a blast wearing this guy, and he still remains my favorite of my costumes. Unfortunately, my friend is not so good with pictures, and this weird angle makes his feet look small :/Anyway, hope you guys like him, and there are more pics of him in my gallery along with my other costumes ^_^

I'd love to have a costume like this and not those cheap outfits that I normally get with the foul smelling mask.
It doesn't help that I wear glasses and steam just screws with my vision.

My goal is to sell these, but this costume is still having heat issues that I haven't worked out yet. Even with fans, its a portable sauna suit. Stilts and masks are already in the works, but I my haunt and school(costume design) keeps me very busy. I'll be in this guy on ESPN's sports center on Halloween though! Look for me!

Nah the feet look fine, it's the shoulder-pads that look big in this angle but it's still a terrific costume every time I look at it. ^^

This is after. I took most of the stuffing out od the shoulders, but they still stand up on their own and look big. He's going under the scalpel now that I have some time between promotion events.

You should've taken some WIP photos of the bodysuit as well, I'd love to know how you got the fur to look more life-like and less like a common Furry's suit. ^^

I got super realistic looking faux wolf fur then airbrushed it to blend with the 3 inch shaggy black fur. The black was also shaved in some areas.

Oh I already know the airbrushing and shaving part, but I didn't know whether or not you'd made the fur look so wirey and matted like real fur or if you'd bought it that way. Did you get it from a website shop that fur?

Thats just the way the fur got because it was so long. I cant remember where I got the brown fur, but the black fur I got from distinctive fabric, and I think its called monkey puppet ...? Also, when I applied the black fur, I laid it against the grain, so the fur would kinda stand up on its own, making it look thicker. On some parts, I also shaved it a bit choppy too. He also hasn't been brushed since I made him, so I'm sure thats contributing haha.

Pretty much, the fur likes to lie in a certain direction right? You apply it to the costume upside down, forcing it to lie in the opposite direction it wants to lie. With long fur, this causes the fur to kinda stand up. Does that make any sense?

This method really works better with longer fur. Short fur might look funny. I guess just hold your fabric upsidedown an see if you like it

Thing is that the new gloves I've made are downsided, so I'd have to make the bodysuit's fur match the gloves anyway.

Once you build up the muscles in your legs, no its not difficult to walk in at all. I have done 2, 3 day conventions in these, which included stairs, escalators, and even dancing.
