Saludos Raza!!a ilustration for a Neotakufest poster, I done in HB pencil and PS7, Originally the event was in april 30th (child dayΒ΄s in MΓ©xico) but the Neotakufest will be in May 7. for more info: [link]

I've being using photoshop too but I can't seem to use textures the right way. Do you have any advice or do you know any tutorial on that? For example the texture you used on the robot.

Pues, yo solo uso la misma brocha para casi todo...tengo algunos procesos para tocar de principio a fin en OPEN CANVAS por si te interesa....ahi puedes ver la forma en que realizo las texturas...

She looks slightly older in the face. But I dunno if that's just cause her face is rather flat looking... as if her head was flattish. GREAT image otherwise, and the robot rocks.

this is really great work man.. the composition is top-notch, the drawing is excellent and the coloring is spectacular! i love the background in particular. heh heh. of all things to love about the piece, right? i think too many people overlook the power of an awesome background.

Sort of reminds me of Kenny Chesney's "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" thing... only, it's a robot, not a tractor.

Excellent - and I agree with the comments I saw about the face, the nose looks as though it should project further out, make the facial contours more obvious. Perfect lighting though

The rendering is VERY GOOD, the colors are excellent, and the concept is adorable...but someone else posted the fact that she's not actually looking at the flower.
Her face is the only thing that could have been improved that I can see. Her face looks like it's flat, with no real contours...like it's the front of a balloon. I'm not trying to tick anyone off, just trying to help point out things that it's hard for the artists to notice because they've been staring at the pieces so long
