as·sim·i·la·tion: The process whereby a minority group gradually adopts the customs and attitudes of the prevailing culture.putting this back into my gallery, because the symbolic value earned it its place in my printaccount. I think this classic posture speaks volumnes of the human mindset

I think this is the most politically provocative piece I've ever see on Deviantart. The spidery lines and grainy feel evoke an opressive and smothering atmosphere brilliantly.
I wish I could understand the comment by ~Polarization as it looks interesting and is about the longest comment I've ever seen in response to a deviation.

Dit galleri er simpelthen fantastisk. Jeg kan stadig huske, da jeg i sin tid for første gang så dine billeder. Jeg tror det var på fotokritik.dk eller sådan noget. Kan det passe? Nå, men pyt. Jeg havde lige fået læreplads som fotograf og tænkte, at hvis jeg bare en dag kan lave noget, der tilnærmelsesvist kommer op på det niveau, du lægger for dagen, så ville min nye levevej give mig alt det indhold, jeg sukkede efter. Her 2 år efter er jeg stadig langt, langt fra. Haha. Du kan sgu noget særligt. Jeg ved i dag det kaldes Photoshop, men jeg vil overhovedet ikke vove at degradere dine billeder til kun at være gode efter postproduktion. Du må have en tanke med alt, hvad du laver, og jeg er imponeret af dine opsætninger og tilsyneladende vidtfavnende tankevirksomhed. Da jeg så en thumbnail af et billede på forsiden af Deviantart, tænkte jeg med det samme, at det lignede noget a la dine værker. Det viste sig så at være dig. Jeg har interesseret fulgt dig på sidelinjen igennem de sidste par år. Jeg vil bare fortælle dig, at du er en stor inspiration for mig, selvom vi er vidt forskellige fotografer. Dine toner og stemninger er lige op af min gade-agtigt. For 4-5 måneder siden ansatte vi en ny elev hos os, som hed Martin Gleit (han stoppede siden hen ret hurtigt, idet han ville lave helt andre fotos). Det viste sig så, at han på enelleranden måde havde enelleranden relation til dig. Han var også skidedygtig. Nå, men. Det er jo altsammen en helt anden historie. Jeg vil bare sige, at det fandme er godt gået!

I just mixed two photos. One where I bend over, and one where I curled my back. Took abit of time to make it look right. The background is just 4 sides transformed and scaled to give it depth. The texture layers was also scaled and softlighted onto the whole thing.
