its a good photo only thing that im having a hard time with is that the title says we die alone but in the pic the footprints in all actuallity are coming towards each other. but yeah its still a good photo

I heard that about this photo before. Maybe the direction is wrong, but the footprints starts and ends alone, although they stick together almost to the end. Its more a symbol though, not supposed to be taken so literally.

My friend ~psycho1001 recommended that i check your work out and it is by far one of the best photographs that i have seen on deviantART, i checked V2 out but i like this one better as i find it tells more of a story and let's you focus on the footprints much better, keep up the work and i am giving this a +fav and you a +watch!

That is so beautiful, and so true. Just because you die alone doesn't mean your death is awful and cold... you are just ready to be on your own, is my opinion.

To add to the above quote from Donnie Darko, "The search for God is absurd?" "It is if we die alone"...which is what I get from this piece. It seems like a play on the "Footsteps in the Sand" piece we all hear so much, where the "punchline" is "That is where I carried you"...however, the fact that they lead from and into different directions adds to the "It is if we all die alone" bit...in today's fast-paced world, most people only find temporary happiness in religion, before moving on to something else, myself included. In a society of people who are constantly looking for the next best thing, we are all destined to die alone.

i have never seen such a photograph that contains so much beauty and meaning ... i mean i am thrilled... i just couldn't believe my eyes... the color is so beuatiful... i love monochromatic colors in color photography, it vreates such irony... the composition is beautiful... if we count my obsession about dune photos, this is a masterpiece... a real masterpiece...
... i wanna have a huge print of this... like 16x20... could it be possible?
