Went for a more traditional portrait here. I like how the plane reflects the sky, the home of pilots. Reminds me of Topgun somehow, and I dont care if its bad taste perfected
Last one from me for a while, gonna spend some time cleaning out my much too big gallery. Ciao

Has to be one hell of a pilot to be an Ace Fighter in a L-29 Delfin... One of the cleanest looking L-29s I've seen in quite some time, the reflections on its skin is amazing. And the colors really give this picture an incredibly depth.

how many light points do you have?? cause the sun, if I am not wrong is behind the clouds, but the tip of the jet has a light beem, is that your flash?? (excelent picture by the way, I love how everything stands out... the pilot, the plain... the background).

I like the modest look he has on his face. The clouds seem to suggest something is impending. The simple background does an excellent job emphasizing the subjects.

this one is very exceptional. it stands completely aside from the previous one. although it still paints a picture of the conflictive world we're living in right now, it also gives us the idealistic image of the modern-day warrior: proud, action-seeking, seemingly unbreakable, invincible.
this is really well done. i'm adding it to my favorites.

i must say, i certainly appreciate this photo and don't consider it to be in 'bad taste' in the least.
my brother is a top gun instructor/pilot, navigating F/A-18 Hornets in Singapore currently. he is aboard the uss carl vinson and is said to be back in late july. you are correct, they really do consider the sky their 'home'.
within this composition, i love the greyish hues with a sun attempting to crawl out of it's hole.

i do like how the plane reflects the sky... though i think i preferred the previous picture a bit better.. maybe because it was a bit more candid, and from your description of him.. that seemed fitting.. yes... this one is more traditional... and it's not bad... i just .. enjoyed the other one a bit better.

I find the series highly sucessful but there was something a bit too phallic for me about the shots with them sitting on the nose of the jet.... although kudos for being creative enough to take them.... definitely not something I've ever seen before. YEs sirree... how old are you? *hugs the young pro*
