Well this is definitely an adventurous approach on your part. I enjoy the theme a lot. I can't help but ignore though that there are a few things that bother me about this one.
I could always be wrong but I feel like you could still use a little improvement as far as his clothing and when it comes to the fluid motion of the ripples of the clothing. I just feel like he looks more like he is fat and his fat is rippling instead of his clothing xD
I also have some doubts about anatomy and scale with the gray squirrel (I don't remember her name). I feel like her right ear is kinda off balance by a little bit and maybe could have been better detailed so that it is weighted the same as the rest of the picture, but not so much that it draws attention to it. Her left foot also looks to be too small in comparison to her right foot which I assume is symmetric if she were standing straight.
With that said, your shading is absolutely orgasmic. I wish I could shade as well as you do, but it looks like you pay a lot of attention to the detail of your shading and it pays off very well. The background is also nice as always.
It's a pretty cute picture, but all in all I feel like you've had better pictures than this in your past, but as always keep up the great work man!

Ah it's damn good to get a crit from someone again haha, it's been a while. I see the foot thing for sure...the clothing thing is probably cause of the shadow...I'll have to try and work on that.
