Talziah Crowmane II, took her son, Darian Crowmane III to the hall of fame, there they saw a mighty officer… Lord Officer Karlmond Blackmarch, a horned race like both the queen, and her beloved son.

A race known as the Taurun, often known as an imperial race with short temper. Known to be tough, cunning, and greedy.

Darian saluted the painting of the officer, the painting of what his mother called “An arrogant warmonger.” Talziah covered her face with a hand, in shame that Darian seemed no better than his father. Like his father. Cordin, Karlmond turned him into a warmonger.

Some Taurun figures was for most part, arrogant cunning leaders. But fewer was empaths, not that Talziah knew how to use a sword or musket. Yet she left her warrior days, and tossed all what she had away someplace…

Darian wanted to be an officer too, his mother’s fear was that Karlmond would turn her son into another of his officer pawns. Just like his dad, it was almost like Karlmond was already a king, he was a cunning officer with great social status and skills…

Quite unlikely for a Taurun, they were leaders and great problem solvers. But they were also introverts, and didn’t enjoy people who wasn’t their own folk…

But Karlmond could work with any race, whether they were men, elf, or dwarf alike…
