Description Commandant Dagny Vestlig and Captain Muriel Valeri taking a break around the outskirts of recently "liberated" Clan.

Dagny is the second in Command of the Karelia's 1st Expeditionary Force, better known as Archer's Avansert. She comes from a working class family in Argyll. Wanting to fight the Shirudo, she joined the military in 1808, at 16 with a fake ID claiming she was 20. She served alongside war hero Archer Engel's in the successful late war Karelian raids on Shirudo supply depots in Imania. After the war, she stuck with Archer through the turbulent post war aftermath and throughout the radical Birgir military reforms of the late 1810's. When Birgir offered Archer control of the new Karelian Expeditionary Corps and its elite Avansert Divisions, Archer brought her friend and confident with her. Where Archer can be quite cold and distant, Dagny is a popular parental figure for much of the unit.

Muriel Valeri was born in Mull in 1806, shortly after the Arcean victory at Gadasasvelli. Much of her childhood was spent playing among the ruins of the Mullic city, messing around in disabled tanks and toying with abandoned field guns. She joined the Karelian Army in the 1820's during Frida's initial build up of the force, hoping to get a shot at fighting the Shirudo. Muriel got her wish when Archer's Avansert acted as the spearhead of Karelia's invasion of the Shirudo home islands, being part of the force that stormed the Shirudo Royal Palace in Kowhoor. She is now the leader of the 4th Dwyrain Avansert.

Dagny has old late war Karelian armor while Valeri has the post Birgir reform plates. Both have shed the standard Karelian blue jacket and pants for the lighter "Arcean" style Karelian Mediterranean outfit.

You should emboss the lettering onto the image next time for some kewl 3d effects

I love the subtle shading on the pouches, really brings the image to life. Great job (:

Also, heh, 'liberation...'

how was their stay in hotel kohwoor? : > I hope they had their fill of good food. I bet they thought it was anti-climatic to be able to invade the shirudan mainland but not do any real fighting.

Hope that they treat their Hokuriko allies well.

This looks goood~

Haha, the lady soldiers must have grown weary of the men staring at them. hahaha. But hey, at least the food was great.

Mmm, are the karelians so quick to adapt to calling the shubs the h-word? : O I'll never refer to them as the h-words.

Haha. I'm sure they grew to appreciate the more forward nature of the men of Kohwoor.

I'd guess they've been given explicit orders from the boys and girls in Lansdowne to call them nothing else, and 'correct' them if they use any other title for themselves.

looks neat, would make sense that they'd change uniforms in this climate. the enshawdian uniforms have short sleeves for this same reason.

would they call it 'mediterrenean' , though? I guess alchewantenean does not roll off the tongue.

I think you forgot the strap for the LMG, though, R/N it looks like it is sort of floating there.

Warm weather, it effects everyone

I think I've called the area around the Unus Solum equator Mediterranean before. I suppose Middleland may be a better term though...

Sssshhhh. No one needs to know
