"It had started as any other day on the front. Dug into six feet of snow in unstable muddy ground. Tank crews had never missed the hot cabin so much, but due to shortages, the tanks couldn't be run without a reason. A radio message came in around 5 pm saying that Royal Guards had found a weak spot in Shirudo lines, and that a force could quickly break in. The 10th Cavalry with support from Elite Militia was sent in to exploit it. The enemy never had a chance.

Things were so bad for the Shirudo that the slightest show of force sent them routing. We later found many enemy soldiers dying from Scurvy and frostbite abandoned, alongside equipment and ammunition. The air force parasite fighters and airships cleaned up what units did stay around to fight. I wouldn't be surprised if we had pushed 50 standards in before ever facing combat. The lack of civilians was eerie and has led to some retaliation against prisoners, but who am I to judge? I'd do the same given the chance.

Either way, with the North Ghurrka Army putting pressure on the Shirudo in the south, I wouldn't be surprised if they collapse to Nordvest by the spring."

Just wanted to draw tanks and a winter scene. What do you guys think of the winter effect? Did it look like it was snowing before I told you? Does it feel like nighttime in the picture?
