That has to be one of the funnest mixes of all time. I have a Jack Russell so I'm fully aware of the energy level. But they make up for their faults in boundless energy, companionship, and being just play hilarious XD. Sounds like she is a super athlete.

We're very proud of her, but she had a few issues- she can be very fearful (she wasn't socialized much before we got her, at six months), but is LOADS better then she used to be.
Jacks are great! And hilarious. If you mix the energy, stubborness and intelligence of the Jack with the intense work drive, energy, nervousness and need to please of the border collie... you get Matrix! Which is an awesome mix, if you ask me. Not for everyone, but certianly wonderful for our family.
We love her to bits, quirks and all.

Well. Yes. Sweet. To us, maybe. To any one else? Not so sweet, lol! She *really* doesn't like strangers. She IS super smart, though. We can teach her anything, as long as we throw a ball after! Plus, she's a real sweetheart once she knows you're ok. Veeeery protective, is our Maddie.
Excuse me while I wax eloquent (or, attempt to) about my dog.
Border jacks are usually bred for dog sports- agility, flyball etc. Maddie, however, was an "oops". Her previous owner didn't think she would be tall enough for the jumps in flyball (dog's got to be at lest 13" at the withers) so she sold her to us. Her loss, our gain! Matrix topped out at 15" at the withers, and is amazing at sports, so a great big HA! to her previous owner.
