Oblivion belongs to Bethesda.Hey! I don't know how many hours went into this - but my hand hurts from gripping my tablet's stylus. However, I am pleased with the outcome. This is Photoshop over a very basic graphite sketch (the finished piece turned out so different from the graphite, I was tempted not to say anything about it.) You have to squint to see Ailirah's freckles, but I assure you, they are there.
I don't want to know what it took to get Ailirah to sit still and look so...calm. Usually she's all energy.

Hmm, I always pictured Ailirah as having a rounder face, but I guess you've got the Nord-ness to account for in this picture. I LOVE the eyes! You know, I think yours is the only story with a protagonist with changing eyes which wasn't a total Sue-fic. Well done!

This is absolutely wonderful! And she looks exactly how I've been imagining her, apart from the expression. What HAS gotten her to sit so still...?
I love the detail you've put into the hair, and all the different shades of red.

Thanks - I'm fond of this piece as well. All my digital work is done with a tablet - I just tend to swing back and forth between digital and traditional work.

Everyone loves pretty things, and Ailirah's no exception - it's just harder to show. Still, she'll need to get to be a little more ladylike for what I've got planned for her (or, at least turn her profanity filter on during duty hours
