I've always like the K-Wing. You've got to love how it's armed for bear. According to "The New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels" it has eighteen hard points, giving it the ability to pack a dizzying variety of weapons, including concussion missiles, sublight torpedoes, flechette missiles, thermal warheads, floating mines, and whatever else the ordnance guys can come up with, along with twin and quad laser cannon turrets. Along with more powerful engines, shields, and improved armor, this latest variant includes a robust hyperdrive, slightly expanded internal space for the crew and an additional tail gun turret. It's hard to find many good high-res pics of this ship, so I hope that fans of the K-Wing will enjoy these images.

All the hard points on this ship remind me of the A-10 Warthog. All of the cool turrets remind me of WWII bombers like the B-17 or the B-25, while the unusual twin cockpit configuration reminds me of the old F-82 "Twin Mustang." Altogether these features make for an interesting and engaging design.
