After the initial meeting with Chastity Lancaster, Rosa redoubled her training so that when the time for the fight came, she would be ready. At first, most everyone steered clear, as the sounds of progression, made loud and clear, showed how dangerous Rosa was- tempering her skills, and focusing her simmering ire towards her contemptible enemy..

After a while, Raven and Derrick volunteer themselves to help Rosa with a bit of sparring, but this was to be conducted in a specific way:

Raven and Derrick would switch out, each round- in doing this, it would not only allow Rosa to spar for a large number of rounds, it would prepare her for adapting to different fighting styles at the same time (Raven's a boxer-puncher style fighter, while Derrick's a textbook fighter).

This page was basically a 2-panel page highlighting this spar in question- for the first one, Raven manages a bit of defense until Rosa manages to land a good uppercut to his gut. Over at ringside, Derrick jokingly offers a bit of advice for Raven... but the table turns a few rounds later- in which shes a nasty left hook to the face.. Ouch..... ^^:

Over at the ropes, Raven is laughing his head off, despite the bruises and bandages...

Suffice to say, it was a harsh session for the three, but then in boxing, pain comes with the territory...

Doing a bit of Rosa training to fight Chastity was in the queue for a while. When I thought of how to go about it, this came together fairly quickly. It was fun to have Rosa be focused, but vent some of her fury in a focused and controlled matter. I like how sometimes it's the spontaneous ideas that work out so well.
