The bell for round one had rung. Raven and X meet in the center, each with guards raised, eyeing the other for an opening... Raven takes quick glances but see's neither opening nor sudden movement from X..

Raven: *thinking* No openings yet, and he doesn't look to be in a hurry... if that's a poker face, X is doing a good job of it. Better take the initiative..

*Raven throws a left hook at X's face, but X sways back and out of range..*

*X responds by landing a hard left cross onto Raven's cheek!*

POW!

Raven: Ugh... *thinking* That one stings... Let's try that again..

*Raven throws a right jab, but X raises his right glove quickly to block it.

Raven: !! *thinking* Not even batting an eye? .... Not good....

This one took a while to get started- I made some minor adjustments such as the left hook in the first bit- it looked weird in the draft, so I fixed that, and X's left cross since it looked to be missing in part. Otherwise, it took a while to get the coloring done- slow and steady, so to speak.

I've a rough idea of what to do for the next part, but with classes starting up, it could be a bit longer than usual to get a draft started, but I'm getting interested in seeing how this fight will turn out.
