*Reeling from the uppercut, Raven staggers back a couple steps, stopping near the ropes*

*Raven: Ooh... *shakes head a bit* *thinking*Not good..

Scythe: What do you think you're doing??

*Raven glances back and sees Scythe giving him an earful

Scythe: One quick shot at you're near the ropes? I trained you better than that. *gives Raven back his mouthpiece:

Raven: Against humans, yes. But..

Scythe: So what if X is a reploid? In this ring, he's just another opponent: If he hits you hard, hit him back harder.

Raven: .*considers Scythes words and grins slightly* Thanks.

*As Raven starts moving slowly towards X, the latter had watched the exchange between trainer and pupil*

X: *Thinking* This is strange, a kid training an adult to fight...? I'll say this, it's almost like watching a pair of brothers.... Time to get back to it..

*Raven stands a good distance away..

X: What's the matter? I thought you came here to fight... *grins and tilts his head a bit* Need a target? Hit me right here, if you can. *taps his chin with his left glove before resuming a fighting stance

Raven: *Thinking* Oh, I'm going to make you eat those words and my fist, X...

*As the two get within punching distance of each other, X and Raven eye each other..looking for an opportunity to attack..*

Raven: *thinking* ... I can't be reckless- the last time I charged in, he countered me... In that case... *shifts his right glove ever so slightly*

X: *thinking* ... a right jab.. I'll dodge to the right the second he throws...*

*Raven moves his right as if to throw....

X: *thinking* Now..-!!

BAM!!!!!

X: Oh....! *feels something hard slam into his midsection.*

Raven: *thinking* Gotcha, X....

*Raven had feinted a right jab and threw a hard left hook into X's midsection...*

I did work on this for a while, but had to wait on account of a school paper. At the moment, most of said paper is finished, so I decided to finish this update . I already mapped out the next part, but it'll have to wait until I finish the rest of the paper.. I think I"m slowly getting used to drawing the tattoo... a little.
