Description
This one is a painting that I had previously uploaded. I removed it because I was not sure whether I was happy with it.After a few self-critiques and a group critique (with my art buddies), I decided that it is fine as is.
I used a photograph from Kayaksailerβs gallery for reference to paint the Hummingbird.
A new painting is coming soon.

No offence, but I don't think it works either, and I'm sure you know that in your heart of hearts.
Some paintings just don't work, I know, I have several myself and knowing when to give up and move on, isn't always easy.

I always liked it, it was a comment left the first time that made me question the balance of greens on the painting. But after putting it away, and looking at it again, I realized that there is nothing wrong with it.
I would like to know what you see not working in this piece. Can you send me a note?

I thought it was just great as it was too! I really like how you used red in the bottom left corner to make the leaves stand out from the green background, and it really helps even out the color usage well since there is so much green. I know that artists are typically their own worst critic (I completely understand) but I think you need to give yourself more credit
