Description
"There once was a man called Wright,
He could travel faster than light.
He went off one dayΒ
In a Relative way
And came back on the previous night!" - Old limerick, author unknown
Allow me to remind my new Watchers, and those who may have forgotten:
The comic I'm busy writing is set in an alternate, pseudo-Victorian world where magic is real, and co-exists alongside Mad Science. A portion of this world's population are Historical Paradoxes (people from the history of our world (the Old World), currently consisting largely of Victorians, and their family tree that preceded them) and Literary Paradoxes (people, characters, and things from canonised literary works, i.e. Alice, Wendy Darling, Victor Frankenstein, John H Watson, Dr Henry Jekyll, et al). This is very relevant when we look at this guy.
Quentin Wells-Wright is HG Wells' hot-shot, better-at-everything cousin, and currently the owner of a more pristine, well-maintained, better-functioning model of the Time Machine. Quentin is the wealthier of the two cousins, although no one is entirely sure what he does for a living.
Quentin is only a Half-Paradox, because he never existed in the Old World's timeline, and his existence in this timeline can be attributed to a slight change in the family tree (in this case, Wells' father had an extra sibling, a sister who went on to marry a man named Cedric Wright). Unfortunately, there are some areas in Alzechron where these so-called "half-breeds" are discriminated against...
(P.S. "Alzechron" is the name of the world where most of the comic takes place. I'm hinting towards things now!!)
Anyway, this is my current design model for our dear Time Traveller, just for reference when drawing him throughout the comic. I feel like the big one on the left would be him posing for a fancy photograph. Then there's a side-profile, a sketch of him frantically running, and the above-quoted limerick. I also drew him probably exploring some distant time (where he's wearing the goggles), and one where he's leaning on dear little Wells' head. Lastly, there's the one just above that...

I've got a character for you to add into this comic. And they're so simple to draw!
That's right... The Invisible Man
Did you think I was going to say Kahlo despite the fact she isn't Victorian?
Why do I love annoyed Wells? I want an annoyed Wells I already have an annoyed Tesla and whatnot, so why not? Well I suppose an angry tiny man is very dangerous actually.
Help now I want to draw book characters, I don't want to

THE INVISIBLE MAN!! I actually made plans to include him at some point. I still need to visualise what he'll do in the plot, and get a clear idea of him, but soon the details will be quite transparent
*is arrested for bad Invisible Man puns*
You want an annoyed Wells because Angry Tiny People are the best
I now send you off to draw those book characters you don't want to draw!

Stupid puns If I had any art related ones I would say them....
Yes they are. Unless they're children. Angry Tiny Children are very annoying.
Nooo I don't want to be banished to that life
