Power Rangers Civil War

There is actually a lot to say about this. A follow up to PRiS has always been in my plans since Zara was created way back in the day, t's part of why she was created to start with. But I never really had an idea for an Space sequel. So it almost became that I created her for nothing. So it was sorta Schrodinger's cat for awhile. Alive and dead at the same time. Then I began working on Alpha and there's been this thread of a story going on about KO-35. There's been some civil unrest there. And then I created the Astronema clone as a counter balance villain to Widow and Roki in Beta. And then all the threads started coming together. And I must admit, I have to give credit to the spray tanned cheeto ruining my country or else I may never been aware of easily an authoritarian can take charge of a government and how hate has a lot to do with it. I started the civil unrest storyline before 2016 but these past three years have given me plenty of insight on how and why it could happen.

Anyway, I have never been a fan of Ranger vs. Ranger storylines. It always seemed wrong. And that was exactly one of the reasons I went for it here. After I decided Mirinoi Chronicles was going to have a unique power scheme and not just a rehash of the LG Rangers, I wanted the same thing for a KO-35 story. And..it all just started coming together awhile back. It was like, okay, the Astro Morphers are stolen, Zhane's missing, what power set would suit resistance fighters in a civil war? And with a wild car like Astronema as one of the main characters, Pirate Rangers was perfect. And Mega was a good enough team name I kept it for them. But the power set is purely pirates, there's no changing into other Rangers here. I was finally getting around to deciding last night what I wanted to do with Silver. I mean, there was room for another Kovarian to join the team or something, but I was always leaning toward Sora doing it anyway since Zhane is his sensei, it almost needed to be him. Then I was researching GokaiSilver and all the "three forms" stuff was tailor made for our half-Triforian triplicator XD So that's that. Yellow, however, is a new character, because I needed some diversity and to not take too huge a chunk of Alpha/Betas off world. So that's how that happened.

Doing these weren't as complicated as I feared. The helmets were so niiiiice after working on such complicated helmets the past couple times with JF and the Kiramager helmets. And Okay, there's a reason there's a purple ranger rather than a green. I perfectly find making Zara Blue Ranger. My trouble was making Fox a Green Ranger. YES, technically he's been a Green Ranger before, but eh, I dunno. I toyed with the idea of making it black instead, but the color scheme would have been thrown off. I think I just didn't want a Green, tbh. So...Sentai uses purple a lot for black energy and such, so I decided to use purple instead. So, yeah, a purple core, how cool does that look? Anyway...
