I love this. I've no idea why this shot of yours is getting nowhere near the amount of publicity as your others are; I personally think this shot is your best.
Did you deliberately set up for this shot, or was it a spontaneous kind of thing?

a little of both actually.
I was out shooting the kite, and I happened to see the airplane in the sky, so I got the person flying the kite to move so that I could get both in the frame.

i love it. the whole plane being in the shot is a great spontaneous element, but id love it even more without it, kite looks great. really like the color and composition.

how interesting... the juxtaposition of the fuel powered plane with the wind powered kite is what drew me to this photo.
I'll have to take a look at it without the plane and see.
