*Rursus isn't asking for a new laptop, photoshop, a graphic tablet, copics, or a subscription. She doesn't need money to buy presents, or to pay for an artist's table at a convention. She doesn't need money for a car payment, food, or rent to keep her from being homeless.
What she needs is greater than all of those reasons.
What she needs is her eyes. *Rursus is going blind at a drastic rate. She was born with only 20% of her vision, and while Glasses have helped improve her sight for a long while, it is coming to an end and there is only so much prescription lenses can do.

The good news... no, the amazing news, is that *Rursus qualifies for LASIK surgery! This surgery... as many of you know, my mother is legally blind from a head injury coupled with Multiple Sclerosis. She was going to lose it all, but she got eye surgery and now she can still drive! There is amazing hope out there, this is not a desperate hope at one last chance, this is a definitive answer!
This surgery will slow, or even halt, the degeneration poor *Rursus is suffering. It may not remove her need for glasses, it didn't for my mother, but *Rursus isn't searching for cosmetic procedures... she is doing this to save... well, the world. Save her ability to see the beauty of this world!!

We all have the need for money... I need to get my cat to the vet, I need to see a doctor, I need medication, I need to get Christmas gifts, I need to pay for Phoenix Comic Con...

But this cause? This is important. And I can do something! Until *Rursus earns her money, I am making the promise to go to her and the artists helping her FIRST if I need to commission anyone for ANYTHING artwork related!!
