“God Valentine's day is just empty and saccharine, it doesn't matter how old I get, I just won't understand it” Ryan ranted as he slammed the door shut into his apartment. He wasn't even really upset ay anything in particular. Well, maybe upset at EVERYTHING in particular. He looked through his mail bill, bill, ad......pink envelope? He opened it not sure what he expected to see.

enclosed is a pass to our speed dating Valentine's day event, Here at The Black Crow lounge we are sorry to see so many of our neighbors alone on Valentine's day. We are inviting everyone nearby to our last-minute, 11th hour, Valentine's day speed date. We promise it to be life-changing.......Also, quarter beers and half-priced appetizers.

Falling out was a voucher. Ryan had no interest in actually speed dating. That was popular in the late nineties, in the era of COVID, he didn't even understand how that was still a thing. Cheap beer and food were always a plus. He got dressed up and headed out. Wearing a black shirt over a pair of jeans, he cleaned up pretty nice for an overweight middle-aged guy.

Getting to the bar he was handed a ticket for seat number, 48, and he found his way. He noticed the balance seemed a bit off a lot more guys than girls but he sat down. He ordered himself a beer and relaxed. Before too long a young guy about 15 years less his 41 years sat across from him. “hey I'm Josh, I guess what we just relax until more women show up. “ He joked.

“Yeah I guess, but we might as well talk, a heck of a super bowl last night huh?” Ryan said.

Josh looked a little confused but then had a big smile “So football fan?” He asked.

“Yeah, I guess,” Ryan said, “Watch most Sundays, get a little passionate, ok a lot passionate about my Bills” Ryan all of a sudden found it fun to talk to Josh.

“Yeah they're pretty good, I always wanted to find a girl to go to the games with, had season tickets since I graduated high school,” Josh said.

Ryan didn't notice but a bell sounding at the start of the event happened about 2 minutes ago. “So,” Ryan said making conversation some more “What types of a girl were you hoping to meet here”

“Well, sports fan like I mentioned, she would be smart but sweet. Definitely a brunette I'm a sucker for a dark-haired girl. She'd be flirty but funny, also would like all the nerdy stuff I like, she wouldn't have to conform to me, but I would like our lives to be together.”

Ryan pushed a long dark strand out of his face like he had been doing it for years. “Oh come on,” he said playfully punching Josh. “you don't have to be on good behavior, you want a big titted bimbo right”

Josh shook his head “Ok since were just talking ideal here right”

Ryan nodded, his long shiny brunette ponytail bounced with the nod, with delicate curls framing his face.

“Ok so cards on the table, she would have to be small, 5'1' I think would be ideal. And gorgeous bright eyes, I'm not particular about the color. And......no she doesn't need huge tits, in proportion my friend. She would need cute tiny hands that I could squeeze and soft round shoulders that I could hold. A healthy sex drive would be nice but I want a wife not a whore. Soft pillowy lips that are a bright cardinal red most of the time, but she loves to try different fun colors. She would know how to dress to always look amazing and unique with outfits that were fun. She'd be comfortable in sneakers, heels, or big clunky boots. Mostly she would be madly in love with me, and maybe younger than me” Josh said looking over at the woman he just described looking back at him.

“My god” Raine said smiling at him, “you are such a cheese ball. You just looked at me and described me huh? I bet you would have done that with any girl sitting here huh” She slammed her hand on the quit button. She was done, this was her guy. She might only be 19 but she knew the man of her dreams when she met him, “ I am glad I didn't have to sit with any weirdos, how bout we go someplace quieter, like my place, I have Disney+ and an 8k tv we could watch Avengers....”

Josh stood up next to the petite cutie, “This was certainly life-changing” he said.

When the waitress was clearing the table she found a $100 and a note that just read "thanks"
