I do like Klimt in my way(I'm glad you didn't add the gold). you didn't choose the stereotype green for Severus which is a good choice. And all these details, must have take you ages. It's a very lovely piece of watercolouring

Okay so...seriously. Literally two of my favorite things together: Lily/Severus and Klimt. LOVE IT. You've picked up on his use of pattern and certain shapes really, really beautifully. Lily's hair reminds me of the goldfish painting. This is win.

I must say that it makes me think of a poem...."Fire and Ice" by Robert Frost
"Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favour fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice."
Well...the death theme doesn't really fit, but the part with fire and ice...it's perfect
