the way lily's hair continues in snape's vest
lily's mouth (although in general i think she looks a bit too proud/distanced/arrogant/slytherin-like)

the painting was inspired by klimt's art, therefore all the gold
I wanted them to be connected in some way, that is why lilys hair is a part of snapes vest...
Yea, I know she looks pretty proud and maybe arrogant, but i wanted her to stand by snapes side, and that her face would tell us that "I've made my choise, no one can change my mind, I'm on his side, and i'm proud of that choise...but I guess that expressions are always hard to shape....

yes, i think now i understand what you mean with her expression. after she would have made that decision people might have shown lack of understanding and might have treated her unfriendly because of snape's slytherin identity, but she never minds......

The reason the design turned out the way it did is that I have got a new art book about Klimt, and I just fell in love with his paintings... unfortunlly the goldpaint dosen't look like it should after scanning the painting
