Will had been here before. Not this exact place, or with these exact people, but he'd done this before. Fighting for his life alongside people he didn't really know? Oh yeah, that was all too familar to him. He couldn't name exactly what it was, but somewhere, in the back of his mind, faint visions of other events, other places, other times would appear.

Ah, there was one now. It was faint, a very different sort of place, but he could feel it nonetheless. A him with three eyes? How peculiar. Ah, and there was the one with the lavender hair again. No Mogut'yun, certainly, but there it was. What was she, captured? Now that was a new one... Ah, for the sake of a peculiar box, on an unknown ship? Well, a ship was familiar at least. Oh, but as quickly as it came, there it goes, replaced by another...

What was this? Hm... An older sort of world, then. Odd, very odd... Well, missing an eye this time, rather than having an extra? You never could tell, I suppose. Was he waxing philosophical? Or was he merely dumb? It was hard to tell. He carried pistols, but how many? Six, seven, eight of them. For what purpose? It was difficult to say. And this cutlass of sorts, it looked...rusted, old. Ah, what was this? Cutting through armor like that? Maybe there was more to it. But Will would certainly not know, for it too disappeared into nothing...

It was quiet, for once. Things had stopped, for now. But Will was sure they would be back, they always were. These thoughts in the back of his mind, going round and round, in an endless cycle. He wondered why it had started, and where it would end.
