It was said that, for the right price, Saracena Grimaldi would do anything under the sun. Alessia, for her part, always allowed herself a reserved smile when she heard these rumors. Her alter ego always seemed to have a greater reputation than she did, something she was, all things considered, quite okay with. While it was true that she had taken money for a great many things, it was rare she ever followed through as intended.

Tonight was a good example, in fact. She was currently lying in the bed of some minor noble or another, waiting patiently for his return. He was expecting a nice night alone with her, something she had to work hard not to laugh aloud at. To think that any man thought he would lay a hand on her so easily was something that always amused her. No, she knew exactly how the night would go.

He would enter, wearing likely only a robe. He would say something he thought was incredibly suave, and then he would disrobe. She had already poured two glasses of Ninnananna di Felisci, which she had introduced to him simply as "her favorite wine, and would he please love to try it?" This would, in all likelihood, be more than enough to do the job, but that was not a risk Alessia was willing to take. After he had finished his glass, Alessia would kiss him, her lips already coated in a thin layer of more poison. If he was not dead by then, the blade she kept around her neck would be more than enough.

She was looking forward to finishing this job. She was being paid exceptionally well for it, but that meant little to her. It was not about the money for Alessia, it was about the prestige, the whispers of her name in less-than-reputable circles. Such things were worth so much more than gold to her.
