Speedpaintish shiiiiny color-explosive drawing of Xerneas because Xerneas is beautiful. Here it's using Geomancy (the actual move looks likeΒ this in case someone cares) because it looks awesome xDAhhhh X/Y are so amazing, if you don't have a copy yet I totally suggest you to get one! I didn't even care about Pokemon anymore except in the form of my Nuzlocke comic but I thought I'd try this game out and it feels like I'm 10 again, I am sooo addicted xD seriously, it even inspired me to draw haha.

RBGY: Mewtwo and Mew have powerful Psychic moves. Cool.
GSC: Lugia has Aeroblast, and Ho-Oh has Sacred Fire. Neat!
RSE/ORAS: Groudon/Primal Groudon has Drought/Desolate Land ability (which makes Solar Beam a OHKO for Water Types, and makes Water Types useless in the case of Desolate Land) AND Precipice Blades. Kyogre has Drizzle/Primordial Sea and Origin Pulse. AWESOME!!!
DPPt: Palkia has Spacial Rend, Dialga has Roar of Time, and Giratina has two forms and Shadow Force. Also, Arceus and Judgement... and Multitype. Yeah, fucking badass. ;3
BW/BW2: Zekrom has Fusion Bolt and Bolt Strike. Reshiram has Fusion Flare and Blue Flare. Kyurem can fuse with either dragon and have Ice Burn or Freeze Shock. Shut up and take my money!
XY: Yveltal has an incredible move called Oblivion Wing, that steals HP! I want me some of dat!

Give it a Power Herb, and then Xerneas is able to charge up Geomancy all in just one turn!

I actually really loved this move! It was extremely cool, and it was great to see a status signature-move for once. Plus, although it takes two turns, it really boosts your stats up and makes Xerneas impossible to destroy! C:<

I was so disappointed with that move. If you play defensively then it's great, but I play offensively and so it ended up being worthless. Plus with the awesome signature moves of the previous Generation Mascots, geomancy was a huge let down. So I gave him Nature Power instead because that's what geomancy in fantasy and stuff actually is. It's drawing power from the land around to perform attacks based on the drawn power.
But it does LOOK awesome. So there's that.

Well, it does double Special Attack and Speed, so it isn't that bad offensively, in fact, that's how most people use it (offensive geomancy with power herb.)

That's still defensive as far as I'm concerned. Offensive would be more like Roar of Time or Fusion Bolt where it's an extremely powerful attack, not an extremely powerful stat boost.

That's still defensive. One turn for Geomancy, then one for Moonblast. As opposed to one turn for Moonblast, or Dazzling Gleam. Also I only fight the NPCs so defensive and stat changing moves are unnecessary.

One Geomancy and Power Herb + one Moonblast deals FAR more damage than just two Moonblasts. This is actually a hyper-offensive strategy, because the Geomancy buff is TREMENDOUS. It's only technically defensive in the fact that Special Defense gets boosted as well.
And Moonblast is FAR superior to Dazzling Gleam, even in Doubles in my opinion.

One Moonblast goes even further in NPC battles because it knocks out the enemy in one hit as long as they don't have a Fairy resistance. The Geomancy buff is entirely useless and arbitrary in that circumstance.
