Description Some adventurer symbols. Adventurers have been around in Aesca, at least on the Arna continent for a long time; long enough to develop their own slang terms and glyph language. These are a few glyphs one might see wandering around a local landscape or small town. It's considered boorish and backward to even know what these symbols mean, unless you're a historian or scholar. Yes, people consider adventurers backwards and boorish.

Oh yeah, there's a difference between clean water you can drink and water you can't; sometimes, you can offend water or the spirits living there by drinking it.

The "It's safe here" symbol makes me chuckle.

It's a bit complicated to draw because if you have time to draw it, it's obviously safe. Also, it's an image of Turtle, who's a sort of totem of safety.

Ah, I see. To me it looked like an alligator or similar scaly predator.

I want to know how many applications there are for "some guy".

Well, the primary one would be sneaking your initials onto a piece of paper with a bunch of other symbols...

Wow, just adds that much more credence to the "adventurers are really murderous hobos" idea. Awesome.
