Description
Something I pounded out pretty quick for a Mutants & Masterminds game; a fortune teller and con artist with some illusion spells in a D&D fantasy type world. She's from a group of humans who set up shop near the plane of shadow and started to unravel; they adopted the use of summoning circles and binding materials in their clothing and with tattoos in order to prevent themselves from becoming formless and fading into the plane (which tends to happen in the setting). Her eyes are glowy because she's wearing a veil literally made out of shadows, sort of a magical set of sunglasses, and she's got good nightvision, so the "glow" is just a reflection of daylight.
"Need I remind you that I'm just glowing eyes under a hood?"

Ivahi likes to think she is cool in her heart of hearts, but the truth is that she's kind of a klutz and not very good at keeping secrets.

They're design reminds me of the character the 'Shadow Shaman'. Dark and mysterious, and may be a shadow himself.
Excellent detail as always.

Black looks good on her. And I like the colors too.
Did you take inspiration from The Legend of Zelda?

Yes, totally. That's what the character was originally for, but that game got canceled after one session due to the antics of another player. My original concept was to make one of those fortune tellers that's just eyes under a hood that you see in those games. This means she's just recycled and made to align with the GM's setting.

I made the connection mostly because of the cyan symbols. One of them looks like the "crying eye" of the Sheikah tribe. The others are reminiscent of the tattoos used by the Twili.
Creating characters for roleplaying games sounds fun. It is a shame I never really got into this trend.
