Circus people waking up and greeting one another, emerging from their tents. Here I have the mysterious snake girl in front, Jo-Jo the dog-faced boy dozing off on the right, and Stretch having some trouble with his long limbs, off in the back.Another piece for my Children's Book Illustration class. I'm not that thrilled with this one, it morphed a lot before it reached this point. My original intentions were to have done it in watercolor or gouache, THEN I thought I would ink it, then I threw the lines away and just did it all digitally. It was great practice doing environments, because I am not totally environment-stupid, they are just daunting.

this one has to be my favorite one out of all your children's book illustrations. When I was little I really enjoyed the film with pee-wee herman having the circus stay with him. This reminds me alot of it, when he greeted them in the morning
