Description
Can you believe I'd never seen Back to the Future III? I guess we disliked the second one so much, we didn't even bother with the third. Big mistake, past me--because there is nothing not to love about the third.Firstly, Doc Brown is so wonderful, obviously, and his leading man role was just the ticket. The big, brown puppy dog eyes and the long, flowing silvery hair, haha.
I thought I'd make a poster, combining the entire series (and the costumes, Delorean modifications, etc.)--basically my favorite parts. I spent a really long time on the sketch and then threw up a lot of color in the photoshop process.
Btw, we've started a great Doc Brown fan group over at Doc Brown Fans Unite! Great Scott! Check it out! [link]
P.S. I began the sketch while out shopping, and was able to draw Christopher Lloyd's face from memory. Michael J. Fox, another story.
P.P.S. Just forget about the possible everything that is wrong with the Delorean, because I cannot for the life of me draw cars and if it wasn't the TARDIS to the Doctor, I would have probably left it out.

Haha, slow going as in, he doesn't like using long sentences, and when he does, it takes him forever. Nothing at all like Doc.

Yeah, def. And he doesn't have an kids, which kind of bums me out. I like knowing the family name lives on, ahaha.

Unfortunately, I had to end up naming the club Doc Brown fans unite, because they had a limit of how many letters you could have DX

I like the colors, and how the picture focuses on Doc in the foreground instead of Marty. I'm not saying that Marty isn't as good as Doc, but Doc is the shiz. He's also extremely quotable in every sense of the word. XD
Perhaps it's not important, but why did you hate the 2nd movie?

Thanks! No, I love Marty. Michael J. Fox is simply a staple of my favorite childhood movies, extremely likeable and as Marty, an awesome main character.
Well, the last movie really centered around the Doc and I thought the love story was so unexpected and sensitively done. The 2nd movie had a lot of crazy idiot Biff stuff and punching and it got to be a bore (I had trouble getting through the first hour), but it did get better later on. Also, prosthetics are always pretty corny, and Marty played his own DAUGHTER. WHAT?! haha

Yeah, I agree, he is extremely likable.
Most people say that the 3rd movie is the worst of the trilogy, and I watched it just recently, and I gotta say, why? Why do people hate it? It's really not bad. True, it's not the universal favorite of the trilogy, but while some people say it's the "worst" of the series, I say it's the "least best".
Haha, My best friend knows how in love I am with BTTF, and she started watching the third one on TV the other day but had to change the channel before the end, so she asked me to explain what happens after the festival scene. When I told her that Doc comes back married with kids in a time traveling train, I think she lost all faith in the trilogy.

Honestly, the third one is perfect for me. The same old thing over and over wasn't going to cut it for the third--fans would complain about that too! I thought the futuristic 2015 in the 2nd was really interesting, but as far as a movie that I would like by itself, separate from the series, the third is def. it. The Doc deserved more screen time, he's so fabulous.
I think generally, fans of the series like action and fantasy and spacey type environments, not westerns, so that prob. has a lot to do with it. I just like time travel, it doesn't matter where to me. I guess I'm a little biased as well--I love American pioneer nostalgia. Plus, I'm a big Doctor Who fan, and the Doctor has been everywhere from 19th century London to New New York.
And oh my gosh, a time travel train with children, I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

That's true about general BTTF fans. Have you ever seen "Time after Time" with Mary Steenburgen?

OOOOHHH, SEE IT, SEE IT! It's a fantastic time travel movie about Jack the Ripper winding up in 1970s San Francisco. Yes, it sounds unbelievably stupid, but it's actually quite interesting and well-written.
