About 6 years ago I wrote Revolution's Rebirth...a Star Wars fan novel staring my friends and me. When I started writing it, I'd asked my then-girlfriend (and still dear friend) Ruthie Collins (she was Ruthie Maier then, heh) to do a cover for it. Of course, being the loving person she is, she worked hard and managed to perfectly capture the description I'd given her.

Well, the thing is, I'd always wanted to do a cover for it myself and, well, this is it.

Tim's face is a little off, but he's got some very unique facial lines that are hard to work with (same goes with Shaun, who is the model for a Battlestar Galactica pic that I'm still working on). Other than that, I used Ruthie's original Yuuzhan Vong (Sith Vong as the Jedi duo discover) drawing as inspiration.

I also used a stock brush from for the starfield. Excelent brushes!

The rest is all me!
