haha, I enjoy reading the comments between you and nzeman (you also have some awesome pics) anyways I am curious as to how you were able to get such a great exposure for both the mountain and the flowers while retaining all of the rich colors and details? I find that even in raw files I end up with some major contrast and lowering the contrast usually results in loss of colors and richness

haha, thanks! I was bracketing 5 exposures for this scene, manually blending them in post processing. You can do this in the field as well with a graduated neutral density filter. You are right though, the range of exposure is too great in a scene like this to be captured in one exposure, even when shooting in raw.

The place was beautiful, except that we didn't get a "little" lost, we ended up on the high way and had to walk all the way back up. xD
