Description
Now we get into the Kalosian forms. Voltorb and Electrode are based on Apricorns, and they inhabit the now-deserted PokeBall Factory, which has rapidly become overtaken by nature. Noctowl is of course based on snowy owls and can be found near Snowbelle City. Finally, Hoppip's line was largely inspired due to wanting to put a special regional variant in the Lumiose Catacombs, an area that'll be in the Kalos part of the story. They're basically just intended to be wilted, but there's of course some influence there from grave offerings of flowers.

Though only recently rediscovered, they're thought to be the oldest and most natural form of Voltorb. They're easily mistaken for Apricorns deep in certain woods, but will burst in a brilliant flash if picked up.

A lack of sunlight has severely stunted their growth, forcing them against their wishes to feed instead off of grief and the last regrets of the deceased.
