Description You may have noticed from my other projects I tend to have trouble making pure Normal types. Well, I've been working on remedying that. Here we have a number of concepts with interesting background. The first evolution family is of course based on koalas, but I decided to take a different route from most people and sort of make a marsupial version of the Slakoth family. Koalas have very similar behavior to what's displayed in that evolution family; being very lazy but also having aggressive tendencies. I also drew inspiration from drop bears, which any Australian will tell you are definitely a thing that is entirely real. For those of you who don't know drop bears basically are giant killer koalas. They're totally real, too, and my Aussie friends will back me up here! I'm not lying to terrify you at all! Next up is Taurget. I'm sure a literal bullseye has been done to death but I wanted to put my spin on it, plus it fit with the Normal type better than anything else. And it was way more interesting than my other bullseye Fakemon concept. Finally, the last of these evolution families is based on genetically engineered bioluminescent cats. Yes, those are a completely real thing. I both want one and don't because that'd be terrifying to see in the dark.
EDIT: Base stats added thanks to !

68. Droala (カワラ, Kawara)
Lazy Pokemon
Normal type
HT: 1'4"
WT: 10.2 lbs.
Ability: Truant
Hidden Ability: None
Egg Groups: Field
Evolves into Aggroala at Lv. 18
Droala are incredibly lazy, almost never moving from their perches in eucalyptus trees where they spend quite nearly the whole day asleep. In the short time they're awake, they gorge themselves on whatever eucalyptus leaves are within reach, and then go back to sleep once there are no more leaves within arm's length.
Base stats: 45/64/64/39/39/29

69. Aggroala (ゲンコアラ, Genkoara)
Energetic Pokemon
Normal type
HT: 3'11"
WT: 56.4 lbs.
Ability: Vital Spirit
Hidden Ability: None
Egg Groups: Field
Evolves from Droala at Lv. 18
Evolves into Drowsupial at Lv. 36
Aggroala never stop moving, constantly moving around in search of more eucalyptus leaves to eat, as they aren't particularly filling. They dislike anything interrupting their frantic search for food, and as a result have gained a reputation as vicious Pokemon.
Base stats: 65/84/84/59/59/89

70. Drowsupial (ネムアラ, Nemuara)
Lazy Pokemon
Normal type
HT: 6'3"
WT: 232.8 lbs.
Ability: Truant
Hidden Ability: None
Egg Groups: Field
Evolves from Aggroala at Lv. 36
Tied with Slaking as the laziest Pokemon, Drowsupial live in eucalyptus forests, sleeping on the ground because of their immense mass being too much for the trees to support them. They have very powerful arms that they use to knock down nearby trees, giving them easy access to eucalyptus leaves to eat.
Base stats: 140/154/104/99/69/104

71. Taurget (アタルシ, Atarushi)
Bullseye Pokemon
Normal type
HT: 5'3"
WT: 156.9 lbs.
Ability: No Guard
Hidden Ability: None
Egg Groups: Field
Taurget's bullseye pattern has been judged by biologists to be an evolutionary failure for the species, as it makes them sitting ducks for predators. They use powerful headbutts and kicks to fend off the predators that attack them, but they are such easy targets that they often have to deal with one predator after another despite having just gotten rid of one.
Base stats: 105/105/75/50/85/75

72. Prismeow (キラニャー, Kiranyaa)
Glow Kitten Pokemon
Normal type
HT: 1'8"
WT: 14.3 lbs.
Ability: Prism Body (Powers up light-based moves by 33%)
Hidden Ability: Shine Veil (Halves damage from Dark and Ghost type moves. Can light up caves outside of battle.)
Egg Groups: Field
Evolves into Illumeow when a Shiny Stone is used
Prismeow was engineered by scientists when they combined genes from a variety of bioluminescent Pokemon such as Staryu and Tentacool with Meowth embryos. They quickly became greatly sought after as pets.
Base stats: 46/51/41/66/46/76

73. Illumeow (ネカリ, Nekari)
Glow Cat Pokemon
Normal type
HT: 2'11"
WT: 34.2 lbs.
Ability: Prism Body (Powers up light-based moves by 33%)
Hidden Ability: Shine Veil (Halves damage from Dark and Ghost type moves. Can light up caves outside of battle.)
Egg Groups: Prismeow when a Shiny Stone is used
The light produced by an Illumeow can make night seem like day, and in impoverished rural areas where electricity is hard to set up, they are often sent in as pets for the families living there to illuminate their nights.
Base stats: 81/71/76/116/81/111

What will be this Droala's new name now since that name used for the Yumera Pokemon.

Oh right, I actually forgot about that. Eh, I can't totally say for sure. I may have mentioned before but I might actually end up scrapping Chikai and reusing the lines I like in other regions. If I do then I'll likely just leave this line alone since it's pretty much just a fleshed out Komala anyway.
