This instrument for me has open a whole new world. I love playing it. I'm working on a new video of a song I am creating with The Root.Β
Some things I have discovered after creating this are, The design of the back of the root flows well with my body, so as I play I feel the resonating instrument. I have been recently interested in sound healing and feel this makes so much sense to play The Root with this in mind. I have been playing it live at our Thetaflo.bandcamp.com shows and its been really well received. The fretless neck allows me to instantly go, slide, create what ever I want. I have made it so you can strum it or use a bow very easily. I have been using 432=A tuning also for many reasons and found it resonates well with me.
