I know terribly clever title. I'll eventually think of something better...I saw the stock for this image and just had to do something with it. I used a lot of different techniques then I'm used to, including a variety of brushes and painting all on one layer. I cheeped out on the background because I couldn't think of where to put her. Feel free to make suggestions

Edit 7/10/10: Played with the hair a bit to try and make it less cut out looking. Changed the title. Feel free to make comments and suggestions. Help is appreciated

I feel like her hair's real crisp and it bugs me a bit, though I think that's technically nit-picking.

It bugs me too, but if you remember from class, hair has always been trouble for me. I tried smudging the edges but its still too crisp. I'm thinking of cropping it more around her, cutting the bottom of her hair off since the crispness seems to be most notable there.

Hmmm, I actually first noticed the crispness near the top middle section before I noticed on the bottom. Ummm.....I don't know...blur tool? XD Or...shit...a really soft and/or low opacity brush around the edges? Maybe you should just smudge, smudge, smudge, until it's TOO soft and then go backwards from there. XD It's so crazy it just might work!
It'd be kind of a shame if you cropped very much of her though since the rest of her body is so well done.

I looked up some tutorials and played with the hair a bit. Also helped when I put pen pressure on... >< Still not quite happy with it, but its better
