Description
The 4th one in the mug shot series! Gahhhhh. Kakashi took me forever to do >.< ! Not that I invested a lot of time on this piece, I (as usual) rushed it. More so this time because I spent the bulk of my time trying to figure out how to draw his face without the mask on and was really tired and frusterated by the end. I decided on a longer nose and face, but not too strong of a chin. However, he came out looking really young. And although he is relatively young (29 I think by now) he jsut looks too fresh. Of course, Kakashi does have that amazing ability to switch personalities/expressions radically, so this could could be one of those innocent kakashi times. Or maybe its when hes younger(ANBU?), you decide. He's probably not sleepy looking enough either, oh well. And, OMG! Naruto was totally right, he does have fish lips!!! Well...not quite, but u must admit they're rather *full*. Kiba grabbed the best mouth thus far in my opinion. His hair didn't come out either....more because i hadn't really worked out a strategy for how to takle it.....I just dove in and muttered obscenities at frequent intervals.....Hmmm, what else. Oh yeah, no shirt on this one. Why? Well.... I think thats rather obvious don't you ~_^?Related content

Hmm... you should try resizing your drawings, they're a lot easier to look at when they're under 800 pixels in height. Scrolling isn't fun when you want to see something pretty. ^^ Otherwise, I really love this drawing. You have a very good technique with coloured pencils, he looks sooooo dreamy!

Yeah, someone else mentioned that too. that problem is, I'm kinda a retard when it comes to software. I can build a computer but when it comes to programs (like photoshop, ect) I just get lost. So the reason they are so big is that they go onto my scanner, I open them in paint to change the file type to Jpeg, then onto the site. So i just leave it at the size it scans it at I guess. If you have any suggestions that would be really welcome ^__^. Hopefully I can get the problem fixed eventually.
Btw, thanks so much for taking the time to comment! You have an amazing gallery and I was suprised you commented on my stuff I'm glad you like Kakashi, I've been moving out of color pencils a little lately to try watercolor, but I'll probably stick to them when it comes to profiles like this. I get a little sloppy when I try coloring large areas with color pencils O.o
So yeah, thanks again!

To resize an image... well, if you already have Photoshop, just go to Edit -> Image Size (or was it Image -> Image Size, can't remember ). Then just change the size meter to pixels rather than inches, and put something like 600-800 pixels as size. Most image-editing programs other than Photoshop should have about the same possibilities for resizing, the best way to find out is just to try out the different tools and experiment. ^^ Usually scanners come with some kind of an image-edit program to let you manage what you scan.
You should also be able to change the size in Paint, by manually resizing it by dragging it smaller. This is not the best method, since you'll need to cut all the excess white area off afterwards, but it gets the job done.
I hope this helped... really, the best way to learn to use a program is to try everything. If you don't want to destroy a picture in the process, try it with a scrap-image or then just don't save whatever you do.
And thanks. ^_^ I really like your drawings too, so I don't mind commenting on them. Besides, it's always fun to look at other artist's work. ^^
